Year 1 blog:

Year 1 Assembly

Year 1 took us on an incredible journey to the Moon with their special assembly this week. The children confidently shared their learning about the historic Moon landing, impressing everyone with their knowledge, enthusiasm and fantastic oracy skills. It was wonderful to see them working together to present their learning to an audience!

The assembly featured a lovely song that the children performed beautifully, filling the hall with smiles and pride. It was wonderful to see how much effort they had put into learning their lines and working together to create such an enjoyable performance.

Adding to the excitement, the children looked amazing in their space and astronaut-themed costumes. From astronauts and rockets to stars and planets, their creative outfits helped bring the theme to life and made the occasion even more special.

A huge thank you to all the parents and family members who joined us for the assembly. Your support means so much to the children and we were delighted to share this special performance with you.

Well done, Year 1, on a truly out-of-this-world performance!
