Hampshire Reading Championships:

OLSJ are Hampshire Schools Reading Champions 2026! 

We are incredibly proud of our Year 5-6 pupils, who represented OLSJ brilliantly at the Hampshire Schools Reading Championships held at Mansel Park Primary School.

Competing against 12 schools from across Southampton and Hampshire, the team demonstrated fantastic teamwork, knowledge and a love of reading throughout a series of challenging and exciting rounds.

Hosted by children's author and performer Mr Dilly, the event was a wonderful celebration of reading as part of the Year of Reading 2026.

Congratulations to all of the schools who took part and a huge well done to our champions for bringing the trophy home to OLSJ!
