To finish our first half a term in Spring, we have been celebrating Lunar New Year! We came to school dressed in our best red dress. We spent the day exploring all things associated with Lunar New Year. The children tried their best with chopsticks as well as writing symbols in sand. They created Lunar New Year cards for their friends and even made their own dragon! The children really enjoyed dressing up and dancing to traditional music. Everytime someone new came into our classroom, they couldn't wait to tell them why they were dressed in their best red outfit!
