Reading Ambassador Quiz:

As part of our World Book Day celebrations, our Reading Ambassadors took part in "The Great Big World Book Day Footy and Booky Quiz 2026", organised by the National Literacy Trust and Premier League Primary Stars.

The 45-minute quiz included two exciting rounds of questions – one football-themed and one reading-themed – with questions presented by fantastic footballers and brilliant authors. The event was part of the Go All In Together campaign for the National Year of Reading 2026.

Our Reading Ambassadors worked brilliantly as a team, combining their football knowledge with their love of books. After lots of thinking, discussing and cheering each other on, they scored an impressive 15 out of 20.

The children had great fun taking part and it was a fantastic way to celebrate both reading and football!
