Y5/6 Girls' Football:

OLSJ Year 5/6 Girls hosted Springhill Catholic Primary School from Southampton on Thursday, playing their first ‘home’ football fixture of the year.

It proved to be a thrilling match, with OLSJ securing a 5–4 victory. Phea-Rose scored an impressive hat trick, while two own goals added to the OLSJ tally.

Springhill kept the pressure on throughout, especially in the second half, but a special well done goes to Ariana in goal, who made plenty of important saves to help the team hold on for the win.

Congratulations to all the pupils on a fantastic team performance, with plenty of team spirit, sportsmanship and encouragement of each other.
