Year 3 Trip to Lymington Library:
Year 3 had a fantastic trip to Lymington Library this week! The children were very excited to explore the library and discover all the wonderful books it has to offer.
During the visit, the class took part in a fun scavenger hunt around the library. They searched for different types of books and learned how to find their way around the shelves. Everyone worked together brilliantly and enjoyed the challenge.
The children also had some quiet time to read and explore books that caught their interest. It was lovely to see them relaxing with a book and sharing their discoveries with friends.
One of the most interesting parts of the visit was learning about how books are organised in a library. The librarian explained the Dewey Decimal System and showed the children how this system helps people find books on different subjects quickly and easily.
Year 3 had a wonderful time and came back to school full of excitement about reading. A big thank you to the staff at Lymington Library for making our visit so enjoyable!
