Visit from Sir Desmond Swayne MP:

We were visited by Sir Desmond Swayne MP today who came to congratulate the school on their excellent results this year and on Mrs Montague's MBE. Sir Desmond Swayne is our local MP for New Forest West. 

Our Head Boy and Head Girl toured the school with Sir Desmond who was very impressed with the children's learning! He enjoyed taking questions from the children about the Houses of Parliament and about what's happening in our local area!

93% of pupils in Year 6 achieved the Expected Standard across Reading, Writing and Maths last year, with more than half of children achieving the Greater Depth standard in both Reading, Writing and SPAG. We are currently ranked as the #2 school for academic results in Hampshire!
