Year 6 Legacy:

You might have spotted something a little unexpected — and a little bit magical — tucked into the garden at the front of the school grounds!

A ring of beautifully crafted clay toadstools has appeared as if overnight — all different shapes, sizes and colours, each one carefully made and full of character. It’s easy to imagine that the fairies have been… but these toadstools are the creation of our amazing Year 6 leavers!

Each toadstool has been sculpted and decorated by hand, and together they form a lasting piece of art for the whole school community to enjoy — a special legacy placed beside the beautiful new bench kindly donated by our PTA.

So please: don’t pick the toadstools! They’re not just decorations — they’re a legacy. A final chapter written in clay, left behind by pupils who have grown, flourished, and are now ready to take the next step.

To our Year 6s: thank you for everything you’ve brought to our school. We will miss you very much. Best of luck for your new adventures at Priestlands!
