Summer Fayre:
Our Summer Fayre was an absolute delight, the sun was shining and it was wonderful to see so many parents come along to support our Pupil Leadership groups with their endeavours! As you will know, each Pupil Leadership group has chosen a charity to support this year that aligns to their area of focus and the Global Goals. They have each hosted a non uniform day and as part of our ££5 challenge, grown their funds throughout the year with stalls at our Christmas, Easter and Summer Fayres.
Pupils hosted beautiful craft stalls, sold produce grown on our school grounds, created games, sold goodies and even hired a bouncy castle! Thank you all for your continued support this year.
Our STEM Ambassadors raised £31.50 on the day, generating an overall total of: £200.55 for the Sea Life Trust in Poole, supporting Global Goal 14.
Our Eco Ambassadors raised £43.50, generating a grand total of £215.92 for New Forest Basics Bank, supporting Global Goal 2, as well as donating produce grown on our school grounds to the charity.
Our Travel Ambassadors raised £26.50, finishing with an overall total of £274.65 for BRAKE, supporting Global Goal 11.
Our Reading Ambassadors raised £69 at the fayre, giving them a grand total of £291.10 for Libraries without Borders, supporting Global Goal 4 and 10.
Our Prayer Leaders raised £19, totalling their donation to CAFOD to £248.67 (plus a further £277 raised on our Big Lent Walk!) This totals £525.67 for CAFOD, supporting Global Goal 1, 2 and 16.
Our Sanctuary Ambassadors raised a whopping £108 with their bouncy castle, raising a total of £308.83 for Oakhaven this year, supporting Global Goals 16 and 10.
Artwork sold from our CWL 'Live Simply' pieces raised £217.65, all of which will go towards our Minibus Appeal, supporting sustainable travel and Global Goal 11. Year R also raised £48.35 for the fund. With the amazing £4,527 raised by our wonderful parish, we are now at nearly £15,000 raised for our minibus!
