Celebration Assembly:
What a wonderful way to end another fantastic year at OLSJ! Our End of Year Celebration Assembly was filled with smiles, applause and lots of well-deserved awards as we celebrated the many achievements and exciting experiences from across the year.
A huge congratulations to all of our Year 6 children. We are so proud of everything you have achieved during your time at primary school and wish you every success as you begin your next adventure. We hope you enjoy your special leaving keepsake and treasure it as a reminder of your time at OLSJ.
A very special thank you goes to Jaxon and Star's mum, who kindly created a beautiful framed certificate for every Year 6 child. Such a thoughtful and generous gesture; we are incredibly grateful, thank you ever so much.
We were also delighted to present our reading awards, celebrating our pupils' commitment to home reading, their progress in reading and their fantastic development in oracy skills. Well done to everyone who received an award; keep up the great work!
Congratulations to St Luke House, who were crowned our House Champions for the year. A brilliant achievement and well deserved!
A huge well done to Grace, who won our Attendance Prize. We hope you have a wonderful time enjoying your family day out! We also had a wealth of prizes to give out from the Summer Fayre - pupils who won the Guess the Name of the Teddy competition, pom poms in the jar and other exciting contests that our Pupil Leaders organised!
To finish our celebrations, we were treated to our annual Talent Show – and what an amazing showcase it was! From incredible singers and energetic dancers to talented gymnasts, OLSJ certainly has talent! Thank you to Miss Wingate for organising the show and holding the auditions!
Congratulations to Grace, our Key Stage 2 winner, whose fantastic performance of songs from Matilda wowed the audience. Well done also to Abi in Year R, whose delightful rendition of Do-Re-Mi ("Do, a Deer") brought smiles to everyone's faces and earned her the Early Years winner's title.
