School Council blog:
‘We have been collecting ideas for our school menu. Some of the suggestions have included: wraps, baguettes or sandwiches, soup and meatballs. We all enjoyed an outdoor picnic on VE day and have been discussing about eating outdoors more in the summer months.

School lunches
We have been harvesting crops! Take a look at our radishes that have been used in our salad bar this week!
Our kitchen staff have been trialling and discussing ideas for lunches with our pupils. The nut-free pesto pasta was a great salad bar hit! Some year groups have asked if it could be a main dinner option!
We have trialled music and reading in the school lunch hall. We also enjoyed VE day as a picnic outside! We loved having the tables out on the playground and have begun to discuss how we might plan for more opportunities for this over this coming half term!
Fiver challenge update
We wanted to share with you the incredible amounts raised thus far!
Our fetes and events have raised a staggering £865.71! We thank you for your donations and sales and the children for their entrepreneurship skills in action. From their ideas and reinvestment plans, we are so very pleased that the money that has been raised will be distributed across our linked charities and support sustainability of our school grounds and crops.
