Willow gone wild!
Our school willow reading spot in Year R had significantly grown with the mix of wet and sunny weather we have experienced over the past year. Staff and their families took to great (but safe!) heights to weave the new shoots into the structure. Parts of the structure have been taken and cutback and used to create small willow arches for the Year R prayer garden.We hav
School grounds development
We been busy developing our school grounds. We have been clearing brambles over the year so that we are able to establish a central fire circle meeting place in the centre of our designated forest schools area. We now have a few areas that are membraned and woodchipped. We hope to continue more over the coming months.
Repair & Replace
We have had fences repaired and replaced and we thank parents and school staff for their work in our school grounds, particularly the Year R outdoor area. Thank you to those who have given their family time to support the development of our school grounds including painting fences, digging and deweeding.
Outdoor classroom
We thank Mrs Watt and her family for the loan of a digger. They have spent considerable time flattening land so that we are able to have our outdoor classroom bell tent installed over half term.
