Year 6 blog:
Day 4:
Olivia T, Natasia, Louisa and Isla have been practicing ready for their Saturday performance and gave us all a show complete with background accompanying music (We may have commandeered PGLs tannoy system.. one thing PGL have learnt, is that at OLSJ we don't do things by halves!)
Olivia M and Penelope couldn't help but join in with the singing too. In the end the OLSJ girls managed to draw in crowds from those walking past on their way back from activity. It tempted in Oscar too and before long all of the Year 6s were running through their Music Fest songs and we were spotting pupils from other schools peeking through the trees to watch the fantastic show. They really did draw in a crowd! You can take the children out of OLSJ.. but you can't take OLSJ out of the children! We were so incredibly proud (and yes we had Miss Calton & Miss Walker in happy tears and Mr Clark even shared a fond, proud smile!) After a game of Cluedo, much to Violet's delight, we decided to snuggled into our pjs and tucked up for the night.
Mason was incredibly brave on the giant swing and Richard has been incredibly helpful to his peers today helping them when they needed support.
Hector and Adam enjoyed fencing and demonstrating their skills. Oscar and Eric enjoyed archery and as a team OLSJ scored 20 bullseyes! That's a PGL record! Every archery session at PGL starts by telling the next school who is in the lead.. we are leaving an OLSJ trail everywhere we go!
Blake had us in fits of giggles on the sensory trail, especially when he got covered in mud and stuck in the net!
An afternoon of archery and mud! Tonight we are looking forward to a campfire and our last night together. We've made the most of every opportunity this week and we cannot wait to share this with our grown ups.
