Year 6 Day 4:

The children had an amazing time at the beach, despite the rain…!! There was lots of splashing and capsizing… they loved it!!! 

Everyone raced each other through the sea, shouted words of encouragement and competed to be the fastest paddler using different paddling techniques - before long, everyone was soaked from head to toe, but that only added to the fun!!

Their confidence grew with every paddle, and they thoroughly enjoyed the chance to learn something new while having so much fun. It was a brilliant morning!

Next, we worked as a team on the sensory trail, guiding each other through a complex maze of obstacles, any wrong move and we were caked in mud!! We had to listen to each other carefully and support each other - lots of screaming and laughter!!

This evening we are looking forward the bonfire where we will toast marshmallows and sing our hearts out!
