Last day!! Mixed emotions this morning!

The children have had the most AMAZING week and have demonstrated so much resilience, determination and motivation… the pride Mrs Press, Miss Funnell and Miss Walker have for these beautiful children is over-whelming and I know the children are sad to leave…. HOWEVER they are so excited to be reunited with their families at the end of the day!

Anyway, we began the day on the Giant Swing! The children were hoisted high into the sky and then released… the screams!!!! Their faces full of joy and a tiny bit of fear combined… was brilliant!! 

Next, was The Matrix, escape rooms full of hurdles and team work! Solving complex obstacles together was so much fun and the children rose to every challenge presented to them with resolve and enthusiasm!

Finally, Miss Walker, Miss Funnell and Mrs Press would like to say that they are so incredibly proud of Year 6, their positive attitudes, team work and beautiful manners is something we will always remember! 

Our children have made themselves and everyone at OLSJ incredibly proud!!!
