Year 6 Day 3:

What an absolutely incredible day it's been watching our amazing children take on some seriously impressive challenges — and absolutely smashing it!

There is something really magical about watching a child stand on the trapeze platform, look out into thin air… and jump… Phenomenal!!

Some flew through the air oozing with confidence, others took a deep breath, gritted their teeth and just went for it, despite feeling nervous — every single one of them showed incredible courage and resilience that made us so proud! 

Leaping into absolutely nothing and catching the bar takes guts, determination, and a whole lot of "I can do this", the children definitely did this — over and over again! We cheered and held our  breath… (there may have been a few proud tears from the sidelines too!)

If the trapeze was all about that brave leap of faith, the zip wire was pure FUN. Children whizzing through the air at full speed, screaming — absolutely brilliant! Once they hit that platform and launched off, there was no stopping them!!

We've still got Dragon Boating to come this evening and we honestly can’t  wait! More teamwork, more fun and a lot of water!!! Watch this space!
