Year 6 blog:

As part of their legacy that they want to leave for the rest of OLSJ once they have left, our fabulous Year 6 children have spent the morning gardening. They chose which jobs to do including; planting squashes and sweetcorn, weeding and organising the Year R prayer garden space, spreading compost (school made!) over several beds and, finally, enjoying hunting for insects! They worked incredibly as a team, sharing and using tools responsibly and taking pride in their work. Thank you Year 6 for your contribution towards making our school environment so varied and beautiful. Thank you also for planting so many vegetables that we will enjoy whilst remembering you all when you are off to secondary school!
