Reading Ambassadors:
Our Year 5 pupils take on the important role of Reading Ambassadors to promote a love of reading across our school community. As passionate advocates for literacy, they regularly write to authors, take part in national competitions, and ensure that every child builds a strong connection with our local library, Lymington Library, through regular visits. They also take the lead in reviewing books and curating pop-up reading displays throughout the year, including themes such as: Black History Month, Non-Fiction November, and a special tribute to the Children’s Laureate of the year. Their work is overseen by our dedicated staff team, who are committed to fostering a lifelong love of reading and supporting the development of Early Reading within our school.
