Year R Parent and Child Workshop OLSJ

Year R pupils and parents had a lovely time this afternoon, reading the story "The Map" together! They sounded out and blended words such as 'map', 'Dad', 'Tisp', 'Nan' and 'tip', as well as reading the Earth Words 'the', 'no' and 'go'.

Then, pupils and parents made their own cars together - as the main character Tisp spends most of her time in the story driving around, looking for her map!
