Sanctuary Leaders:

This half term, our Sanctuary Group has been learning all about what “sanctuary” means and why it’s such an important value in our school and community. Through books, research, and discussions, we’ve explored how we can help make a difference for others.

We have chosen to support Oakhaven Hospice for our upcoming non-school uniform day, and Samaritan’s Purse for our Christmas Shoebox Appeal. To get everyone involved, we’ve been busy designing bright, eye-catching posters to advertise our projects.

After half term, we’ll be launching our Shoebox Appeal and encouraging as many people as possible to take part - spreading kindness, care, and sanctuary to those who need it most.

Our Mission Statement, that we have chosen and written ourselves, is to ensure everyone in our school and local community feels "wrapped in love - like a warm hug!"
