Year 4 Trip to St Barbe Museum
Year 4 took their learning outside the classroom as they visited St Barbe's Museum to deepen their learning about Romans!
They took part in 3 activities which included: studying Roman coins and currency, analysing and designing Roman pottery and matching Roman artefacts!
Following this, the children were guided around the Museum and witnessed the Boldre Hoard, which still remains one of the only pieces of evidence that suggests the Romans conquered and settled in the New Forest.
The children had an excellent experience which engaged and enthused us all!
