Christmas Fayre:

Our Christmas Fayre was a huge success and a wonderful celebration of pupil leadership, creativity, and community spirit. The event was full of festive fun, with children proudly running stalls, selling items they had designed and created themselves, all inspired by the Global Goals and a desire to make a positive difference.

This year’s fayre grew from our £5 Challenge, where pupils wrote to Mrs Montague and Mr Prince to request £5 funding to launch their own initiatives for their respective charities. From this small starting point, pupils showed incredible teamwork, enterprise and commitment to causes they care deeply about.

Our STEM group sold biscuits, cakes and marshmallows in support of the Sea Life Trust, raising £76.45, contributing to Goal 14: Life Below Water.

The Prayer Leaders raised £58.15 for CAFOD/The Salvation Army by selling beautiful Christmas decorations with a nativity theme that they had made themselves, linking to Goal 16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions.

Our Sanctuary group supported Oakhaven Hospice, raising £37.51 hrough the sale of hand-decorated ‘peace pebbles’, again linking to Goal 16: Peace, Justice & Strong Institutions.

The Reading Ambassadors raised £84 for Libraries Without Borders, selling paper Christmas trees made from well-loved books and hosting a popular book lucky dip, linking to Goal 4: Quality Education.

The Eco Ambassadors raised £71 for the local charity New Forest Basics Bank by creating and selling pinecone decorations, promoting Goal 12: Responsible Consumption and Production and Goal 13: Climate Action.

Our Travel Ambassadors raised £58.15 for RoadPeace with their beautifully painted jars, linking to Goal 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities.

EYFS created some beautiful Christmas decorations in Forest School and made some 'reindeer' food, raising £25 for their chosen charity.
