Summer Reading Challenge:
We were delighted to welcome the team from Lymington Library into school for a special assembly to launch this year's Summer Reading Challenge.
The children enjoyed finding out all about the 2026 theme, "Read to the Beat", which celebrates the wonderful connection between stories, music and creativity. The challenge is a fantastic way to keep children reading throughout the summer holidays while having lots of fun along the way. Best of all, it's completely free to take part!
Children can join the Summer Reading Challenge online or by visiting Lymington Library. There are rewards to collect as they read, and every book counts – from picture books and graphic novels to fact books, chapter books and audiobooks.
