Into University. May 2021.

Year 3/4 were visited by Into University via Zoom this week!

We learned all about different careers available to us once we leave school and the pathways we may need to take to get there! We were taught about different skills that are required for different jobs. We also learned that it is possible to try out many different careers - it is important to challenge yourself and try new things!

Here are some quotes from the children after the event, about their aspirations:

Elizabeth- "I'd like to be a missionary - helping people in need abroad."

Ava- "I'd like to be a zookeeper with Zoe, as we both love animals!"

Ria- "I'd like to be a nurse, just like my Mum."

Shahana- "I think I would like to be a business woman or a doctor!"

Scott- "My first choice is to be a professional footballer, but if I don't succeed, I would like to be a geographer, as it is my favourite subject."

Millie- "I would like to be a teacher, like Mrs Hynd."

Luke - "I'd like to join the police force so that I can help others."

Jason - "I would like to own my own business and be involved in marketing."
