Ascension Day. May 2021.

On Thursday 13th May we celebrated Ascension Day in school.

Ascension Day is celebrated 40 days after Easter, to commemorate Jesus' ascension into Heaven, to prepare a place for His followers.

As part of our class Collective Worship, all children wrote prayers. We took it in turns to read our prayers outside, offering them to Jesus in Heaven, before blowing bubbles up to the clouds in reverence.
