OWWL Update:

We travelled, in our minds, to Mexico in our OWWL sessions today!

We worked collaboratively to make “Ojo de Dios” (God’s eye), which are a trad

itional Mexican handcraft created to celebrate life and creation - perfect as we celebrate all that we’ve grown and are growing. Hand eye coordination and fine motor skills were put to the test along with perseverance too! A great opportunity to test out year 5 and 6’s knot skills too - some lovely reef knots learned and observed! We also continued to weed, harvest and plant - there’s always something to do!

This week we harvested 130 potatoes along with the remainder of the tomatoes, a few apples and two sneaky onions that were hiding! We’re looking forward to eating and sharing our produce!
