Year R have been busy sharing "Sand and Sea with Pip and Pap" together as a class family. Our Early Years team knew that their children would love this story after hearing about beach trips and seeing their love of digging in our very own sandpit!

After seeing Pip and Pap at the beach, we loved being able to go out to the sandpit and build sandcastles with buckets and spades! It was lovely to hear pupils sounding out /d/ - /i/ - /g/ as they used their spades in the sand!
