Year 3 blog:

This term in Year 3, students embarked on an exciting hands-on learning adventure by making pneumatic toys using compressed and pressurized air. Before jumping into the fun of building their toys, Year 3 first learned about pneumatics – the science of using air pressure to move or control something. They discovered that air, when compressed, can create movement, much like how a balloon works when you let the air out!

Next up in Year 3’s science experiments is an exciting and colorful exploration into water transportation in plants! This time, the students will be investigating how plants absorb water and how this process can be visually demonstrated by making flowers change color.
