Reading Ambassadors:
Immi, one of our fabulous Reading Ambassadors was nominated for the School Library Association ‘Pupil Library Assistant of the Year’ award for her amazing work so far this year in the library and for promoting reading for pleasure in our school.
Although she has not progressed to the final, she was sent a certificate by the SLA and the judging panel wished to acknowledge her "tremendous accomplishment", stating that "you should be so proud of your work. Thank you for not only being supportive of your school library but also for being a wonderful advocate for it within the school."
Immi shared that one of her favourite parts of working in the library is "matching the right book to the right person, so they love what they read." We couldn’t agree more with her passion for helping others discover the perfect book for them. It’s this kind of thoughtful, personal approach that makes her such a great fit for the role of pupil librarian and reading ambassador. Well done Immi!
