Balance Bike Fun:
Balance Bike Fun for Year R and Year 1
Over the past four days, our Year R and Year 1 children have had a fantastic time taking part in Balance Bike Training, led by the Hampshire County Council Outdoors Team.
The sessions were packed with fun and excitement as the children developed their confidence and control on balance bikes through a range of engaging activities and challenges. The instructors created a positive and encouraging environment, helping every child to build new skills while having lots of fun along the way.
As well as being enjoyable, the programme provided many important physical benefits. The children worked on developing their postural stability, balance, coordination and gross motor skills, all of which are essential foundations for future learning and physical development. It was wonderful to see their confidence grow with each session as they mastered new techniques and challenged themselves to improve.
A huge thank you to the Hampshire County Council Outdoors Team for delivering such an enjoyable and valuable experience. The children thoroughly enjoyed every minute and were proud of the progress they made throughout the week.
Well done to all of our Year R and Year 1 children for their enthusiasm, determination and excellent participation!
