Adventure Bude Day 3

All had a good sleep last night and were bright and ready for today's first activity, dragon boat racing!

Everyone enjoyed a morning run or swim before having a lovely hot breakfast of croissants and pain au chocolate!

Then, we got into our wet gear, ready to head to the canal. We all got onto one boat together, and worked as a team to row the one mile down the canal to the lock. It look us a little while to get into the rhythm but soon we were on our way!

We had a great time singing our way round the water and observing the wildlife - we even saw a heron!

This afternoon we will be mountain boarding - watch this space for more photos and updates!

Year 6 absolutely loved mountain boarding this afternoon which was great fun!

They strapped up in their knee pads and elbow pads, before getting on their mountain boards and learned how to steer and navigate them.

Once they were confident, they moved up the hill and started to work on their balance skills before then racing each other to the bottom!

We were so impressed with how the children mastered mountain boarding so quickly - they were absolute professionals by the end!

This evening we will take part in a talent show after dinner and games in the MUGA.

Tomorrow, we look forward to the "Team Trail," and body boarding!
