Adventure Bude Day 4
We are still having plenty of fun at Adventure Bude, enjoying the sunny weather and each other's company!
This morning we took part in "Team Games," which involved working together to move two buckets of water around an assault course.
Needless to say, we ended up getting very wet! But not to worry, as we will be in the sea this afternoon, enjoying some body boarding!
We had a fabulous time on the waves this afternoon, body boarding and having fun!
We got in to our wet suits for the last time and walked up to the beach, where a glorious sun and warm sea water awaited us.
It was tricky to board against the waves but it was lots of fun too! Our pupils have made friends with other students during the week and it was lovely to see them having fun with them in the sea.
This evening we will be partaking in a disco and there will be a final presentation for all schools. We have had an amazing time!
We are now getting ready to say our farewells to Adventure Bude, after four fabulous days at the activity centre.
This evening we enjoyed a lovely dinner together before partaking in some orienteering activities. Then, we attended the awards ceremony in the marquee, where everyone was praised for their hard work, bravery, resilience and teamwork that they had shown over the week.
Three of our children won special awards from our group instructor George, who has been absolutely fantastic with our pupils all week.
Mason was awarded "Joker of the week" for keeping everyone going with his superb sense of humor.
Jason won the "Bottle" award for conquering his fear of heights on the high ropes!
Frankie won "Superstar of the week" for giving everything a good go with gusto and a gung-ho attitude!
We then enjoyed a disco and were all up to bed for 9.45, so hopefully all should be up early, ready to pack up our belongings and tidy our rooms...!
We will enjoy a walk of Bude tomorrow before boarding the coach at lunchtime ready to come home. Pupils will be provided with a lunch. We will update parents once we are nearing home, but we are hoping to be back around 5pm, traffic depending. Please keep an eye on your phone for text updates.
