Year 6 blog:

So…. What began as a wet morning turned into the BEST first morning!! 

After having a tour of the site with our team leader, Libby, we unpacked and organised our rooms… with a little guidance!! 

When we’d eaten our lunch, we headed to our first activity, climbing! We all climbed at our own pace, with continuous encouragement from our team mates and pushed ourselves to achieve the best we possibly could, ALL of us made it right to the top!!!

Also, we worked together as teams on the low ropes, ensuring everyone was supported and cheered on!

We began by completing ‘trust’ games, where we ‘fell’ into each other and relied on our ‘Ninja Squirrel’ skills to keep everyone on the ropes! This helped us to gain confidence in the task and strengthen our self-assurance!

Everyone was amazing!!! Miss Walker, Mrs Press and Miss Funnell are incredibly proud of the children’s achievements on their first day!
