Pip and Pap Parent and Pupil Workshop

Year R parents and pupils worked together today to read Pip and Pap Orange Phase story, "The Din!"

In this story, Pim, Pip and Pap make quite a lot of noise, tapping their tins and banging their pans!

Pupils beautifully read 'Pip taps the pin' and 'Pap pats the pan', as part of their reading today, showing off their learning in phonics! They then answered questions about the story, focusing on retrieval, vocabulary and inference skills.

At the end of the session, pupils made their own tambourines, which we think look suitably festive! We hope they don't make too much of a 'din' at home!
