Y4 Prayer leader blog for OLSJ

This week, year 4 would like to share a piece of scripture we have been closely looking at and a prayer for it. 

Matthew 5:14-16 "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives its light to everyone in the house. In the same way let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in Heaven. 

Dear Lord,

We praise you for sending us Jesus to be our guide in a troubled sea. 

We hope that we too can be as bright a light as He. 

We will not hide our light but will let it shine.

We will let our light shine so all around us can feel and know its warmth.
