Advent

Thank you to Fr David and Linda Guilding who led us in the first of our Advent Liturgies in school today.

The first purple candle in our advent wreath symbolises hope. It is called the "Prophecy Candle," in remembrance of the prophet Isiah, who foretold the birth of Jesus.

Linda and Fr David also shared the Nativity story with Year R in the base using different characters as props - the children absolutely loved it!

A big thank you to Linda who has also donated some beautiful Nativity sets to the school, one for each class. They are lovely, thank you so much for thinking of us.
