Y3 Lymington Library

Year 3 had a fantastic time at Lymington Library today! You can see them pictured below, relaxing in the library, reading books they had chosen!

Pupils were shown around by Lymington Library staff and shown how to find different non-fiction and fiction books at the library.

Then the children had a scavenger hunt, where they had to solve riddles to find different books and find out about the different shelves and sections within the library.

Thank you to Lymington Library for coordinating such a superb visit.

All pupils in Year 1-6 will be visiting Lymington Library this half term. Please ensure you have signed your child up for a Hampshire County Council library card, at https://www.hants.gov.uk/librariesandarchives/library/membership/jointhelibrary so that your child can fully enjoy the experience. Please note that these cards can be used across all Hampshire Libraries.

Books taken out at Lymington Library can also be returned to New Milton - your child can still take a book out on the trip, even if Lymington is not their regular library.
