Year 1 blog:
Year 1 Trip to St Barbe’s Museum
What an exciting day for Year 1! We went on our very first school trip to St Barbe’s Museum in Lymington, and it was amazing!
When we arrived, we were welcomed by the friendly museum staff who helped us explore all the interactive displays. We learned lots about the history of Lymington and how our town has changed over time. The children loved spotting familiar places on the aerial maps and seeing what they looked like many years ago!
There were so many interesting things to look at and touch — everyone was curious, asking questions and sharing what they already knew about our local area.
It was such a fun day full of learning and laughter. Year 1 did a brilliant job representing our school, and we’re already looking forward to our next adventure together!
