World Book Day 2023

We had an absolutely wonderful time at OLSJ as part of World Book Day today!

All students took part in a 'fashion show' as part of our morning assembly which was great fun - take a look at the images! Can you guess who everyone was, and which book they came from?

All pupils created a piece of 'beautiful work' around their class book and recorded a video to recommend their book to others - watch this space to see the finished products!

Mrs Montague kindly purchased a new book for each class, which the children voted for from a recommended reading list, created by Peter's Books. 

Well done to Emilia and William who won the OLSJ "Bookface" competition! Aren't the OLSJ entries wonderful? 

A big well done too to William and Darcy who won the 'Pip and Pap' competition to design an alien. Their creations were taken by the series illustrator and turned into a 'Pip and Pap' character! Aren't their creations wonderful?
