Year 2. May 2022.

We have exciting news at Our Lady! Year 2 have adopted an orangutan to help battle deforestation! They have been learning about the plight facing orangutans as part of their poetry work, when studying the poem "There's a Rang Tang in my Bedroom." 

Year 2 had a special visit from the orangutan charity to celebrate their adoption!

They shared with the children how they rescue orangutans from danger and the vital work they carry out all over the word.

We are so glad that we can play our part in helping make the world a safer place for all - both for animals and people!
