Pip and Pap Phonics update:

We are delighted to announce that our Partnership Phonics Programme "Pip and Pap Phonics" has been validated by the Department of Education as an approved systematic, synthetic phonics scheme provider! This scheme has been developed in house by our English & Leadership team, alongside EYFS/KS1 staff across the partnership.

There are less than fifty programmes across the UK that have achieved this accreditation, which shows that the programme has met the required standard in sixteen different areas, as assessed by an independent panel.

We are absolutely thrilled with the feedback from staff and parents about our programme that supports early reading and writing.

You can find out more about the scheme at our Pip and Pap Parent Workshops, which run regularly throughout the school year, or at our new website: www.pipandpap.com.

119 decodable reading books are also part of the scheme - these can be purchased through the school office - just ask for an order form. Orders will also be able to be placed via our new website in the coming weeks.

A big thank you and well done to all staff involved with designing and delivering the programme - and to our pupils across the partnership for their feedback and help too!
