Year 2 Ducks

Here's our first 'duck-date' (duckling update) from Year 2, who have a new arrival!

"Michael Duck-son" (named by the children!) was the first of the eggs to hatch this morning - it was all very exciting! Pupils watched Michael 'pipping' away at his shell - before hatching and then having a well earned rest!

Michael will stay in the brooder for 24 hours until he dries out a little and then will go into the brooder that the children have prepared for him. Hopefully he will have some friends to join him soon!
