Year 3 and 4 blog:

Year 3 and 4  enjoyed an exciting trip to see Matilda the Musical at the Mayflower Theatre in Southampton. Year 4 have been studying Roald Dahl's classic story in English this year, and Year 3 are looking forward to exploring it next year.

The musical brought the much-loved characters to life, including Matilda, Miss Honey, Miss Trunchbull, and Bruce Bogtrotter! Many of the children already knew the songs and thoroughly enjoyed singing along during the show, which was a delight to hear!

It was also lovely to share the experience with other partnership schools too - between us, we nearly filled the balcony!
