Priestlands Maths Challenge:

Izaak, Lydia, Oliver and William P in Y5 represented OLSJ at Priestlands Secondary School, in their annual competition for young mathematicians.

They competed against other local schools in a range of mathematical activities and quizzes, working together as a team to solve a range of practical and abstract problems.

Although they were not the overall winners of the competition, they were highly praised for their team work, problem solving skills and critical thinking! 

The team were also delighted to be cheered on by some friendly faces; ex OLSJ pupils from years gone by who visited the Maths department especially to say hello! It was wonderful to have their support!
