Gardening Club

Gardening Club have been very busy with their litter pickers today, going around the school grounds and having a jolly good tidy up! 

They were quite shocked with the 'litter' that they found - a whole wheelbarrow full!

Many of the items they found had been blown around the grounds by the high winds, such as empty plant pots, rogue footballs and tree guards - though they did find the odd juice carton and chocolate wrapper too! Mrs Rothwell worked with the group to look at what could and could not be composted. The group then made posters to display in our composting area!
