OLSJ Y5/6 Boys vs Springhill Y5/6 Boys

A lightning start from our Year 5 and 6 boys saw them take the lead thanks to a superb finish from Kaiden. The team were totally dominant in the first half and created ample goal scoring opportunities. However the cliche "football is a game of two halves" would prove to be accurate as Springhill took hold of the second half. They soon equalised and pushed for the winning goal. An excellent goalkeeping display by Teddy kept the opposition at bay and earned Our Lady and St Joseph a deserved draw.

The Year 3 and 4 football team battled bravely against a very skillful and powerful Springill lineup. In the early stages, Our Lady and St Joseph battled well and were level at 2-2 thanks to Scott and Luke but as the game progressed Springhill started to take control. The opposition from Southampton eventually secured a 6-2 victory.
