Pip and Pap Family Workshop

Year 1 enjoyed a lovely workshop this afternoon, reading Pink Phase Book 16 "The Sweet Shop" together. 

Parents and pupils recapped the letter - sound correspondences that feature in the book, before practising their blending skills to read the story together. Then, they created their own fabulous confectionery creations! Aren't they wonderful?

Pip pays a surprise trip to the dentist in this book, after chipping his teeth on some bon bons! Parents and pupils completed an oracy activity together at the end of the session, talking about the importance of brushing our teeth and limited sugar consumption!
