Reading Ambassadors:

We are incredibly proud of Nancy and Bethany, our Year 6 Reading Ambassadors, who were recently featured in "The School Librarian Magazine" as part of the article “Pupil Power: Young Voices for Change.” Representing Our Lady & St Joseph Catholic Primary School, they shared how our Reading Ambassadors are helping to promote a love of reading across our school and beyond.

In the article, Nancy and Bethany explain how our school has supported initiatives such as the Hampshire Illustrated Book Award, fundraising for Libraries Without Borders, working with local bookshops and libraries, and encouraging younger pupils to discover the joy of books. Their passion for reading and commitment to making it accessible for everyone truly reflects our school mission, to develop "Architects of a Better World."
