Rotary Shoebox Update

We are delighted to inform families that our Christmas Shoeboxes collected for the Rotary Appeal are now on their way to Eatsern Europe.

217 shoeboxes were collected across Lymington, and OLSJ's 47 boxes made up nearly a quarter of the total!

We have been informed that our boxes will be going to Lviv and Kyiv in Ukraine to be given to children in orphanages in these cities. Additionally, our boxes will be going to Lublin in Poland, where there are a large number of refugee children in homes, orphanages and community groups. Additionally, our boxes will also be sent to Chisinau (Moldova), Targu Mures (Romania) and Ulcinj (Montenegro) where they will also be given to Ukranian refugees.

Thank you so much to our parents and children for your kindness and generosity this Christmas time - the shoeboxes you have collected are very much supporting those in need.
