Year 3 and 4 music showcase

Since September year 3 have been working hard to learn how to play the trumpet and year 4 have been learning the guitar! We are feeling incredibly confident in how to hold the instruments carefully and correctly. We are able to play some key notes and are able to use these to perform together. We have thoroughly enjoyed playing different songs together as a group.

The afternoon started out with an all-important sound check to make sure we were ready before the audience arrived! The audience arrived and we were blown away by the year 4s wonderful songs on their guitars. An incredible skil to master!

Ne . xt it was year 3’s turn to show what they have been working on together on their trumpets. Finally, our favourite part… we came together to play some festive tunes. It was challenging to play and resist the urge to sing along as well! We enjoyed performing Jingle Bells and Carol of the Orchestra together. A special mention to our lovely Izaak (Y3) and Harry (Y4) who played on the trumpet and drums! Thank you all for joining us and we do hope you enjoyed this festive event!
